for those who don't want to drill & glue 300 stanchion holes and thread a nylon wire through 900 subminature brass holes, here's a nice substitute: photoetched railings, made of white copper. exactly the same size like hachettes' railings, but more stable than their brass ones 3 of these sheets are enough for our model. price for 3 sheets is 55 euro including shipping to europe, for our friends 'down under' 60 euro  painted, but not glued in place yet..  |

I'm sold too Markus, I just got the issue with the stanchions in it and thought "ARE YOU KIDDING!?!?"

AARRGGHH... been to the model shop to pick up the next batch of railings they told me that only the curved ones are available at the moment, the straight railings are sold out at the moment due to a sudden demand on the straight ones.....to many bissy builders maybe  but don't worry - new delivery arrives in 2 weeks so please be patient when ordering railings, i'll do my best to get them ASAP.. markus |
