A couple of photos showing the widened deck, the supplied decking was flush with the edge, but I wanted the slight gap to put the rails into. Next step will be to put on a layer of planks on the hull to bring the hull height back up to deck height.

Excellent work as usual Eric, do you think you could post a couple pics of the curved pieces from issue 78 port side aft of the bridge, having trouble fitting that one, plus ran out of superglue. Too busy with work these days but using up my annual and heading to model shop in the morning....only 3 games left of footy season for the lad now. ;D

All is clear now and as usual you demonstrate great modelling skill Eric.
Since I have some parts to narrow and some to wide I have decided to widen the deck with some spare cuts and sand back the bits that are too wide. Will post some pics later.

I have re-built my hull back upto deck level again, except the change in angle places at the front and back.....I'll tackle that tomorrow. So far, so good.....
I have checked the pics I have Robert, and don't have any good close-ups of that curved part.
I'll try and take a couple of pics tomorrow, if I can.

Is he howling an octave or two higher now, by any chance?
We had to have our mutt, erm...altered...too, when he reached doggy puberty his whole personality changed for the worse, so off to the vets and off with his.......aherm....you know!
Gorgous wolf, Robert, even minus a couple of parts!

Robert, sorry for the delay, are these photos any use? They are as close as my camera will go and still stay in focus, even with maco on. Here are a couple of pics of the hull amidships with the new planking in place and back upto deck level. Just got to finish sanding and smoothing then I'll sand down the whole hull and re-spray.

Next update! This is upto issue 105, perfect timing as I just recieved 106 to 109 today! This photo is of all three rangefinders with brasswork done and undercoated. This one is the portside hanger started. For the starboard one I decided to modify it so the hanger door was in the open position, so I cut out the brass area where the opening was with a junior hacksaw and a 1mm drill, then opened up the wooden sections, including the inner brace and painted it all grey inside.
