OOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo.............
I'm a wooden model ship fanatic ......... but

My love for F1 models goes back to my youth.

This is a partwork I would certainly buy if we have it available down Ozzie way.

The last 1:12 scale F1 model I bought was in NZ some 5 years ago. Cost about $25.00..............bargain.
A Heller kit. Not a patch on Tamiya.
Have not started to build it yet.
Have put together the odd one or 2 x 1:20 Tamiya units, but nowhere near the detail of the larger scales.

As you can see from my posts today, I have 4 weeks of Bissie turrets I'm 3/4's through, so no updates on my build. I'm having a break this weekend, cleaning the garage.

I must admit, the F1 partwork would probably weaken my resolve not to buy any more models till I've finished a few ;)

I agree Mark, sorely tempted, but I have so much to complete. I don't need a storage cupboard I need a warehouse.

Well, it says "Victory" and "Admiral Lord Nelson"!

(Took me a while to figure the "Lord".)

B is V, p is r (like Greek - see the Greek "Euro" on any Euro note), N is i or y, upsidedown V is L (a bit like the Greek), something like A is d, c is s (USSR was CCCP).

That has to be "Trafalgar" on the right side of the page.

Sorry, did not think that the Cyrillic characters are unfamiliar.

I wanted to make a sign, but realized that just can not explain why consistent diphthongs and the letter "ы"
Б-b, В-v, Г-g, Н-n, П-p, Р-r, С-s, Д-d, Ш-sh, И-i, Л-l, Ч-ch

Build her Majesty's ship "Victoria". War at sea (is mostly of something in Russian - not "Война в море", correctly "Война на море") battle of Trafalgar - 1805. Admiral Lord Nelson.

Who produces - absolutely not understandable.

And a lot of things promised, but we have a saying - a promise three years of waiting.
