I'm doing the build on a night course at a college closish to where I live and it's being run by the Canberra Model Shipwrights Society www.canberramodelshipwrights.org.au/Course is totally booked out and is costing $220.00 AUD for the boat, toolkit and the course. Nice looking kit there Skyfire and laser cut to boot. What's the instructions like as I found the ones supplied with the Amati Chinese Junk to be pretty much useless!

Look forward to seeing this one progress Skyfire. I really like the look of it and wouldn’t mind building it myself. Got the pickle to finish first though!

Hey Thats a great price for the model and course Skyfire How long does the course run for ? Enjoy................................... Looking forward to the progress reports. I'm getting jealous............ Everyones doing another model. I've had my eye on the Mantua 'Dutch Whaler' for years. A classic ship design (flute, fluyt or whatever) and it seems to be a lovely model, but I'm told a p..ick to build. If I brought that into the house as a sideline model, I'd be murdered .................. Baz

The course runs 8 weeks, (only 7 to go). Finishes 26th of June if I have my maths right. ;D
A bit hard to sneak another build into the house, though you could try sneaking it into the shed. ;D ;D ;D ;D

If you build the Amati Bluenose beware there is an error in the plans, (or in the instruction book). Luckily found it before I had gone to far. Parts 15 & 16 should be 17 & 18. Parts 17 & 18 should be 15 & 16.
