That looks nice! Where do you place the on/off switch?

an aside, Markus your build is superb, where the deck meets the water bar, sheer precision. Museum standard.

Errrm plug in, charge, plug out. off charge. Mobile phones are the same. thymen means the on/off switch for the RC @ thymen I believe it's located under turret bruno, mounted in the hull.

no main switch needed anymore - this charging socket has a built in switch: plug inside - off (only cells are connected to the plug) plug outside - on all i need is a 'dummy' plug to keep the ship switched off markus

Markus,
any problems if you get green water over the bows? Whats water proofing the turret and the base?

i'm not worried about water ingress - turrets and charging jack are placed behind the breakwater....

just noticed on your deck rails there, you have placed them on the deck rather than on the hull lip,is that a better way to put them unlike the magazine which says to attach to hull

put the railings onto the waterway for better protection against damage... a little compromise for a rc model markus

Looking superb Markus. What are you using for the rigging lines? Looks nice and fine and no sagging.

Wow, I've got a woody for this ship :-), can't wait till may next year and hopefully a result like that. Markus would it be a real hassle to do that cammo paint up into the bridge etc? I'm wanting to give it a shot but not if there is a fair chance it will turn out like a dogs brekky. And what did you think about singularly fitting all those stanchions for the railings how much of a drama will that be? Thanks, Steve

didn't paint the camouflage onto the superstructure as i would have messed up the paint job...too complicated for my painting skills didn't use the individual stanchions as i didn't want to glue 300 miniature stanchions followed by threading a nylon wire through 900 holes also this kind of railing (individual stanchions) cannot be used for a rc model - would be damaged in no time... markus
