Got myself an earlier birthday present off ebay, came with 3 motors, prop shafts and brass propellers. You should see the moulding in this kit its fantastic, 2 weeks and daughter is off to uni, young lad takes her old room and presto, I disappear most nites. ;D ;D By the way, the cute little puppy left me a nice present in the hall tonite, bless, moral-turn light on when heading to bed.

Hi Rem,
Hmmm that looks like one nice kit!! Where did you purchase it from if i may ask? Very tempted as I have seen it for around £60 in the UK and I would like to get a cheapish plastic kit before I purchase the much more expensive HMS Kelly plastic kit I want. This looks like a good boat to start with.
The only thing is the ones I am seeing on Google don't seem to come with motors, are these included in the kit or an extra from where you bought it from?

Hi rem,
Just how many models are you building?? Do you live in a house or a shipyard?
Has a look at one of your other models today - you pro builders make me sick! It looks so real.
Just wanted to say thanks for your (and others) help in solving my problem with the joint in the hull. The mod is almost complete and I am really pleased with the difference. Hull will need a complete repaint though.
Thanks again

Sweet kit, Robert!
Been tempted by that one myself, but the wife would probably break my legs for my efforts....

The kit is readily available from most good model retailers, and ranges from £55-£60. And you can suss out all your own RC gear, Model Boat magazine did a good review in their Kit Special issue and their is loads of info at this kink www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=10671.0I have a copy of the article if you wish and I can help you sort out the gear based on what I have. Probably won't start it just yet as we have to sort out daughter going to uni, and moving things around, but the offers there.

Hi Rem! Jolly birthday present that you've got there! Never one gets deceived with an Italeri product. And what about this one for Xmas? ;D Same scale, it has just been released last week here. I feel tempted but then we'll have to move home and as my missus already rants and raves about me for squatting the kitchen with my Bismarck bits!... Me jealous -- my birthday comes within the next 5 weeks! More enlarged pics about this model on the link below: www.oupsmodel.com:80/product_info.php?products_id=15964Robert

Hi Rem, If you ever plan about opening a local navy museum, hope members of this forum will be offered with a free entrance and a glass of wine! ;D I am ALWAYS nice to the missus! The problem is that model boats are simply not her cup of tea! And santa seems to be more listening to her than to my praying...
