Thanks a million, Markus. I wanted to check what we both believe was the backside mechanism and you most certainly are very close to truth! I'll see if I can find a locksmith in the neiborghood that can confirm this matter. And "YES!" to you Mark. It's absolutely one of the "not to be missed" websites for whom wants to know about E-Boats. Funny that you picked up this page. It clearly tells Italeri were thieves there as we meet ourselves with the same errors, only twice as big! ;D Thanks to both of you. Cheers.

I sent Inspector Clouzot on a special mission at Kevin Wheatcroft's in Britain, owner of S-130, to solve this tricky problem of the door with double handles. Regrettably, this latter has disappeared in the middle of nowhere and couldn't give any information... But thanks to Brian Balkwill's help, we've been able to note that the door giving access to the chart room, reproduced also with two handles by Italeri, had in fact only one handle as indicated on the pic below. From there, thinking Italeri again used its imagination rather than to stick to authenticity, the border became to be a very thin line to cross... So, once our best French sleuth back to Paris, I then am going for this second locking option. With Brian Balkwill's/The Wheatcroft Collection permission.

Corrected the door, which now opens toward the open bridge. While at it, I also added the full seats binding as it used to be originally. Happy Bastille Day!

hi can someone please help me with a wiring diagram to wire up the 3 motors as i dont have a clue how to do this also the model shop said it would be good to run with two 385 motors on the outside and a graupner 400 for the middle( advised for a mix of speed and long running time) but i see all info on this people run with same size motors and would i be better with 385 or 400 motors and what sort of running time can i expect from each

just take a look at this: buildthebismark.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rc&action=display&thread=1366using different types of motors doesn't make much sense as the weaker motors won't produce any thrust when supplied with the same voltage as the stronger motors they even might brake the model which results in a higher power consumption of the stronger motors... running time is about an hour with 9000mAh cells and 3 speed400 motors

I might be missing something, but I can't see where he's talking about different sized motors ?

Doh ! I was looking in the post Markus linked to, not the one above that I had missed completely ! It must be old age......
By the way, I agree with Markus. There is little point in mixing motor types as you end up getting very little from whichever one(s) is (are) producing less thrust.

Walker96, Sorry if I repeat myself, but you already have got your answer... eleven days ago! If you did go and check Paul's message on buildthebismark.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=otherbuilds&action=display&thread=1500&page=5you'll have noticed he says having used in his build three Speed 400/7.2V motors with on the outer 25mm standard 3 blade Robbe 25mm props and on the inner motor a hydro 26mm speed prop. Since he RCed is S-Boot, you should really consider contacting him. He'll be more than pleased to give you leads, I'm sure! Mark, glad to see that you didn't have to steal Laura's marbles.

Eleven days ? That post was 14 months ago ! Would you like to borrow Laura's marbles Robert I'm wondering what his reason is for using different props. I'd have thought you'd do better with three identical props to balance the load equally across the three motors, but I guess he has a good reason.
