Hi to all, I need some help, I've looked and looked but cant seem to find a good picture or diagram of HMS King George V's paint scheme, I know that at one period it didn't have any camouflage apart from a dark grey strip along the hull, but I have seen a few pictures of it having a patterened camouflage on the hull and superstructure, unfortuantely the pictures aren't very clear
so I was wondering if anyone could help and give me some links or pictures that show the patterened camouflage as that is how I would like to paint my model,
cheers

cheers Jim, I saw that earlier and I think I'll keep it as a last resort, If I can keep my money then that would be good but it definately might be worth it, thanks

Hi Daniel I scoured ......well skipped through my 10 volumes of War Illustrated. Almost no photos of King George V, couple of sillouettes that might not even be her. I did find a couple of Anson and Howe with 'dazzle' They at least will give you an indication. Looks like each ships paint job was unique though. Now this last one is interesting. The 4 centre pages were coloured blue, green or brown from mid 1943 onwards. Pictures were of better quality than the rest of the publications. This one obviously is blue and have left if in its original colur because it highlights what seems to be a hand painted colour scheme on the mid hull and foreward superstructure. So you can make your own conclusions as to whtas going on here. Hope these are of some value Baz

Thanks Baz, the camouflage of top one, of the HMS Anson, is identical to the cover art on the box for King George V so I have no idea whats happening there, I'll just do it like that anyway, looks quite good Thanks a lot
