a good while back i decided to rip the top hull planking off to try and correct that dent that runs along the top edge. wish i had'nt of bothered now the planking dos'nt fit right!!!! it goes right to the edge of the decks, so either i put the railings through it or sand it down??? are the railings pins or do they have the guide lines built in??? lastly what are the blocks in 127? i know some are anchors.

Dear Chris In the UK, we are only at about issue 100 but we see the german issues on another website and they are up to issue 126. What we do know is that the Hachette railings are individual pins (several hundred !!) with wire to go through them. Many of us will be using proprietry railings, which can be bought at a number of ship model companies (e.g. do a search on "Cornwall Model Boats", then search for "railings"), these consist of a length of made-up 2 or 3 tier railings (typically from 6 ins - 150mm to 8 ins - 200mm long) with fixing feet to go in the deck. These can be soldered or superglued together. Do a search under "railing" on this site to see previous correspondence and advice on this.

I wouldnt mind having some of the indivdual pins in and the rest as pre-formed railings. But I suppose it could be a case of them not matching.

you have 3 options for paying:
1. sending cash euros in a letter 2. transferring euros to my bank account (mostly expensive) 3. paypal
three of these sheets are needed for the whole ship

ok, guys..
asked my model shop for a discount - he offered me 10% off when ordering at least 10 sheets (will order 3 for my ship)
in that case i could deliver 3 sheets for 50 euro INCLUDING shipping
