Hi Folks. The shadow in the dust is the right hand sidepane cover and yes was in the loft. Just after the loft was converted i and my models were relegated there by her indoors, but since my heart failure in 06 i,ve been allowed a spare bedroom so everynow and then i sneak up and see whats still there. I have 3 or 4 plastic kits and aboat the same wooden boat kits yet to start. Oh well one day.

Ah ha - now I see the left hand one still fixed to the model in photo 2 !! Good luck with getting them down and back on display, where all models should be Now that's a fight I'm just about to have, as we're moving house shortly, and my wife has never seen most of my models as they are still packed in boxes from when they went into storage before I met her !! The Bismarck and Titanic have been promised a place in the lounge, but the rest will be subject to review and negotiation. The guest room has been earmarks as the secondary display room !

Yes tigerace they are both the revell 1/9 scale models, i also have a 1/6 kettenkrad to start which is quite a beast. I need to find the decals ( or if your old like me transfers) and the german helmets i know i have them somewhere. Nice model sws35, have a k for your hard work.

Hi alanv! The easiest - cut a stencil and through the airbrush to paint on a blank space of any decals desired item. We often did so, when we in the Soviet times it was very bad with the models. That's a good article on painting and weathering, I think Google can easily transfer it redkv72.narod.ru/articles/weathering_wilder.htmI notice that your model is not R-75. This KS-750

Thanks for the link sws35, thats really good i,ve wanted to try weathering models for years but never thought i had the skills to do it, I must buy a cheap model and give it a go they do look so realistic. Are you in russia?
