Saw the June 2010 issue of "Scale Aircraft Modelling" - cover article is on the Italeri 1:48 Arado Ar 196. They like it.

Italeri Arado 196 in 1/48 is areally nice kit! Revell have announced they will be releasing a 1/32 Arado 196 later in the year - my arm wont have to be twisted too far to build that one ;D Besides it will look good next to my 1/32 Swordfish - now all I need is a 1/32 Bismarck to make a diorama

Did a quick google on that - £17-£19 a model.
Also I believe a 1/32 Heinkel is on the cards too- new extension time!

It would only be about 8 meters long by my reckoning. Now what was that about an extension ?

Hmm, 8m, it will just about fit into my new workshop but it will have to extend through the door into the winery, could be a problem as this year's crop of grapes, apples and plums (wine, champagne, cider and plum mead) looks like being a bumper one !!!

Model Aircraft magazine (or some title like that!) has a build of the Revell kit, June issue.

Just finishing my Bismarck. Question! How did the aircraft launch without losing a wing? However I position the crane it still seems to be in the way? Did it fold down in some way? Doubtless this question has been asked before but I couldn't find any reference. Anyone know? thanks John
