Thanks for the tips Rushzombie, I used the tape method and managed to keep most of them. Its turned out not to bad but doesn't warrant to close an inspection..

I just cut them to ish size(just under 3 mil protruding between thumb and forefinger) run a small slither of super glue down the hull a couple of mil from the template using a toothpick, bang em on with tweezers and slap a coat of paint on. Jobs a good un

I got a piece of wood about the thickness of the foothold length and drilled a hole through it fractionally larger than the diameter of the rod (to ensure that it could be easily removed after cutting). I glued another piece of wood underneath to block one end of the drilled hole. I could then push the rod into the hole and use a mini end nipper cutting pliers (similar to those used for jewelry wire cutting) to cut off the rod at the surface of the hole in the wood. The foothold piece is then retained in the hole and doesn't go flying off (at least, not until you try to get it out of the hole !)

If the quality of your painting didn't make me jealous, I'd give you a K.
Well, have one anyway!

Thanks for the comments and 'k's lads, its much appreciated. I received the last 5 issues on Sat and now see what some of you have been saying recently regarding the work involved in these final issues.. A few late nights ahead me thinks!
As Eric mentioned, I will miss the monthly (albeit irregular) deliveries. As for the Hood...bring it on!
