Isn't it great and terrible when you miss someone?
If you don't miss them, it's just terrible.
Grief is part of the price of love.
NM
PS It's not easy to put these things into words, so even if you don't get many comments know that a lot of people are feeling for you today. And with the wedding coming up, there's lots of things you would want to share with him. Just take care of each other. NM

Hi Chill, my thoughts are also with you. Same thing happened to me just over 5 years ago but the other way round. I lost my youngest son and whilst time heals a little, that one special day still hurts when it comes around. Take care mate.

The best part about today is that it will come to an end and you have tomorrow to look forward to, And besides 50% of your dad is always with you. I lost my dad when I was 10 and even today when I look in the mirror I think, I was sure lucky to have had him bring me into this world, well with 9 months help from mum. Chin up mate. Robert

you have my heart felt sympathy, I was with my mum when she died in hospital, when I went to my parents house to tell my dad she had died he was lying dead in the hall. less than a year later my two year old daughter was killed by a joyrider. you expect to bury your parents. no parent should have to bury a child. and time dosen't heal. just numbs the mind. this is hard to write, but grief councellors tell me talk about don't bottle it up I tell them two words, and off is the second one. I still have a sense of humour. anyone who offers sympathy can off also . no offence. life's a bitch then you die. or discover a bunch of peeps with similar interests and a sense of humour. like the bissie forum.
