Like you Markus, I got fed up with the Hachette failure to provide the prop supports, but I carved mine out of good quality pine, using the Anatomy book for the profiles. I also carved the bulge at the rear end of the props, and used a bit of 5mm by 1mm to make the struts. Now my outer props are complete and safe from getting bent!!! Still no idea when we will get the rsein part for the bow either, think it is a shame we cannot complpete the hull, but at last mine is now deck planked so well on the way! As an aside, will balsa stand up to being knocked when used afloat? One of the reasons why I went for a relatively hard wood.
