Hello. In Issue 23 the resin stern section has to be attached and it says to sand the stern planks so that approx 1mm step of the stern is protruding from the planking. If I kept sanding the planking then they would be paper thin and perhaps I`d be sanding the attaching rib to give me this 1mm step at the stern. Problem Is I can`t sand anymore of the planking. Any suggestions? I don`t seem to be able to place a photo on here

Mate I would advise that u not stick on the stern resin piece until you have completed your second layer of planking as that way you can get a much more accurate fit for the stern part, the same thing goes for the bow resin piece.

Hi Steve, if you want to post photos, you need to join a photo hosting site such as photobucket, you then download from there.
Check out 'testing, testing...hey, is this thing switched on?' for a guide of how to go about it.
P.S. welcome to our forum Steve747!!!

Hi Steve,
Welcome to the forum. As AFK says, wait until you've finished the second planking before attaching this piece. You get a replacement part in issue 35 which os more accurate and slightly larger. I'd suggest using that one instead.
I've moved this message to the hull section which is a better place for it.
