Hi, I am planing for a static model. In issue 23, it talks about drilling 2 holes towards the stern, on the bottom. What are these holes for in a static model.

Hi Jeff, these two holes are for the large rudders to be attached at a later date, so both static and R/C models will have holes drilled. (some R/C models will be in a different position if following Hatchette instructions)

Thanks, I thought that might be the case but I am up to in purchasing issue 36 and the seconding planking looks like it covers these holes.

Best thing I think is to wait till the 2nd planking is done then drill the holls through both lots of planks in 1 go.  |
