Been in a few times a while back. Then I bought vista and had a nightmare getting in. Thanks to the guys on here that give me tips. And over the last 1 or 2 weeks I've been in a few times. ''Talked'' to a few people, but never many members in there.
I think a poll was done a bit back, about when to go in. I think the most popular time was a sunday evening. Not many people turned up though.

The trouble with the chat room is you don't now when any one is in there. If there was someway of seeing when another person was in there I'm sure other people would then go in for a chat. I think there needs to be some way of letteing everyone else know when people are in there. Well thats my two penneth.

I think the chat room is like any other room - if you go in and can't see anyone, it's empty!

I have been trying to get in their for the last 6 months, but all I ever get is a message telling me that I need the latest version of Java, which I then download and it still comes up with the same error message!! Anyone got any ideas? (running XP fullly upto date.)

If your using IE, all I can think of is maybe upgrade to IE 7 or to try Firefox. Btw which version of java are you running? I have version 6 update 4 (build 1.6.0_04-b12), Also check your java setting, although right now I'm not too sure which ones to look at. I'm using firefox 2.0.0.14. You can get it from www.mozilla.com/en-US/

I am using IE7, fully updated, plus I followed the link given by the chat room and downloaded the latest version of the Java and had it verified as working OK, but still nothing!!! Not too bothered, as I have enough work on to waste time on chasing up obscure software faults, but thanks for the comments Skyfire.
