Have to say thats one of the quickest visits to A+E i have ever known it was touch and go for a bit wherever i would need stitches, im glad to say i didnt just steri stitches and next time keep fingers out of the way of the blade.

Stanly blades can give you a right good cut....I should know, a pal (Ha!) of mine stabbed one into the back of me hand in High School, still got the scar to prove it! Bled like crazy, so I'm glad your OK Fishtank, just be more carefull from now on!
Have a 'K' to cheer you up!

It's really weird that these things always happen when you're home all by yourself!
Sam story here, wwhen I was building my titanic I noticed the poop deck was a bit too far to the front.. I decided to cut it loose with a stanley knife and I got all the glue joints out but one... of course I decided to increase the pressure on the knife and it worked, too bad my thumb was right behind the glue joint... the knife went right to the bone...
It's pretty amazing how quickly everything gets covered in blood... at that time I was sitting on my bed with the titanic on my lap so pretty soon my entire bed was covered in blooddrops... I rushed down two flights of stairs, ruining my moms good carpet, and ran straight to the kitchen... of course the band aids were MIA so I decided to use bandaging/guaze ( I believe that is how you spell it)... right after that I sat on the couch with my arm stretched out in the air, and I could feel myself almost starting to faint... after 10 minutes everything was okay so I took some pictures of the warzone before cleaning all the mess up....
the guaze was a bad idea though because when I wanted to remove it the next day it had grown into the wound... and just try to remove it then... getting it out was a nightmare and hurt like hell... still, I'm glad that I didn't go to the hospital for stitches... although the scar hurts when I push it or when it's cold outside...

My turn....my turn!!!
Just lopped off the end of the middle finger of me left hand, pretty good job I did too, but not bad enough to go to the docs, I think!
Bled like a good 'un though!!!!!
You can guess how much sympathy I got from the wife.....yes?
