Hello to all! Please pay attention, if you want to make the turrets turnable. Directly under turret "Anton" you have frame number 25, delivered in issue 06. I have built a papermodell of this section. if anybody is interested, i can send photos by e-mail.

Looking at the German build site, it looks as if we shall shortly be gluing down the deck at the bow end. Gun turret Anton is directly over the second from last frame in this section. I have already modified the frame as per advice above, but once deck is fixed, there will be no access to put in any fittings to make the turret turn. (or maintain any gear once fitted). Has anyone any thoughts on this and an easy way to turn the turret by r/c control?

would it be possible to control 4 servos from the one channel so that when you want to move the turrets they all move at same time. yes, by using 3 y-cables (same as i sell for those drive sets) this makes it possible to attach 4 servos on 1 channel note: i this case the receiver has to be mounted in the middle of the ship, otherwise the length of those cables (approx. 12 inches) isn't enough to reach all turrets markus

Thanks Marcus, good idea. Do you then need to cut (say) a 5cm hole in the foredeck and clear the frame underneath to put servo in place and then fix the turret to the spindle when deck is completed? How about the other 3 which have their turrets (presumably) mounted on the removable bit?
