well done my good friend, its looking fab. im just back from hospital in harrow london, after another shot of high dose chemo,,,,,,,, ah, so thaTs why im going bald. im presently in my home town of cork city doing a bit of R&R before i return to my burnt house, the builders dont know yet if we will be able to stay there over xmas yet, although there confident..
i cant wait to get my hands on her markus, you've done a great job of stabilising the ship, she looks straight as a dye in the water, no sign of a list. one thing, if its not to late, the instructions are in german, i'll have no prob following that, but on the colour side of things. on the section where the colours are written, eg white here ,grey here etc, can you just translate the colours written in german, and translate to english so i can get the right b.s colours, and as the instructions go on , i will be able to follow the colours right. again ,many many thanks to you and your crew on such a sterling job, i just hope i do it justice in the finishing again, many, many thanks friends jc

too late, my girlfriend is already on the way to the postoffice like danny pointed out, the colour scheme should have different languages if not, i'll translate it when you received the parcel markus

hi jc ! now the nimitz is on its way to ireland here some hints: the battery below the styrene cover can be pushed forward/backward to adjust trimming. if this should not be sufficient once the ship is completed or if you need trimming to the left/right afterwards - i added 2 lead stripes for that job. please be careful not to place too much planes onto the deck, also they should be placed evenly on the deck. better check the balance in the bathtub before gluing all the planes in place. i wouldn't suggest using more ballast than the 2 lead stripes, otherwise the ship might have too much draft which won't look good when sailing her the drive is greased and should be maintenance-free for a long time. just in case the couplings wear out in future i added some spare silicone tubing... you don't have to worry about going flat out, the motors cannot get hot enough to melt the motor bracket the battery is fully charged. note that the battery needs several charge/discharge cycles until full capacity is reached. the plug on the esc should only be plugged in for operation. running time is approx. 45 minutes, charging time is max. 24 hours charging is finished as soon as the battery gets warm (non-intelligent charger) the anchor holes at the bow have to be sealed, otherwise your carrier might turn into a submarine ;D please don't use acrylic paint because i used polyurethane spray paint for the underwater hull. if you encounter problems getting all those spray cans just let me know last, but not least - a huge THANK YOU to all those people who made this project possible

hi to everyone, sorry for delay in posting , things are in a heap here with builders everywhere trying to get house finished for xmas, after the chimney fire. well my nimitz came 2nd post yesterday, yahoooooooooooooooo. as good as it looks on the site , to actually see her in reality is brill. markus you done a fantastic job with the r/c. her balance is perfect and your mods are just awesome. only problem i have is that i wont be able to start her proper until house is finished due to severe lack of space, but i will be nibbling at it whenever i get some space. thanks to all who made this possible, for once in my life im speechless. thank you, A MILLION TIMES lads. your truly great friends, and to have you as friends is an honour. by the way robert , thanks for the brill message you left above, really nice, many thanks jc ;D
