Can't wait to see her sailing. Think it will look good. Any hints for a good aircraft carrier kit, (it will be staying static).

markushow many parts are included in build after your finished with r/c.i've ordered 3 sep kits of planes 10 planes in each set, as only 20 planes, you said come with set.hopefully i will have this build finished by end of feb, just in time for my birthday.i have also just started revells CSS ALABAMA, the first joint sail / steam powered ship built by the british for the confederates to break the blockade, strangely enough , sunk by her sister ship theĀ USS KEARSAGE off the coast of france. the british built two , but in a double deal, sold one to the unionists.ex model at 1/96, plenty of detail, but not for the beginner.5/5 rating on box, i love the brass anchor chains,r/c conversion is looking just brill markus, owe ya a big one mate, and the rest of the crew involved, many thanksjc

About the USS KEARSAGE:
Dublin-born John Mackay, of the Comstock Lode (Virginia City, Nevada; died 1902) was presented with w walkingstick made of USS KEARSAGE timber (probably that ship - the name passed through a few generations of ships)
(One of the cable-laying ships of one of his companies nearly made it to a UK maritime museum: it was moored in the Thames, and the river-facing side (only!) was re-painted because Charles and Diana were to pass by at the beginning of their honeymoon. Nice story, whether or not it's true.) An earlier ship was sent to recover Titanic victims from the sea - they put a lot of ice in the cable drums before sailing.

not too bad for an aircraft carrier without rudders mounted... hope jc doesn't use die-cast metal airplanes on the flight deck ;D

In case you're as slow as I am:
I saw Marcus' post of the carrier in the bath earlier today - but it's only now I realised it's a video. Click and it moves! Thanks, Marcus.
