Nice work Tigerace. Yep ................. know the feeling when it comes to sanding. Takes hours. I used 80 grit to smooth the overall surface, then 120, then 480. Keep us up to date with those piccies

How about using one of those fibre glass pencils, like they use for cleaning PCB's. That should give a key for the paint. A bit of paint thinners should get any grease off.

I put a small blob of super glue on a match box , hold the part with tweezers dab it in the super glue , that way you dont get it on your fingers or over the part your fixing. hope you didnt cut your leg to bad. mike

Glad to see you're having a stab at it! You could always replace the Swastika with a Red Cross, but that's hardly appropriate for a battleship. nm

Nice work tigerace, I rarely experience glue on the fingers as I picked up on Mark's tip in one of his issues in "Model - week by week" and that is to use a small piece of "Press stick" on a tooth pick to glue small parts. Also use only a small bit of super glue on the parts, if necessary, place there by the tip of a needle. I feel great to learn from the experts!!
