Hi tigerace have to agree wih nm, lighter grey would look better, maybe the same grey as the boat it self. But its what ever pleases your good self. That all aside your really getting on with the bissy and so far the aircraft look very good well done mate. mike

cheers guys ive redone the tarp a lighter grey as suggested it look`s a lot happier now ;D.also i was looking in a luftwaffe book i have and it shows the arado 196 v4 with extra bracing near the floats and the rear gun was a twin mg81.i`m thinking of scratch building the guns,as the one supplied is a bit of a let down.there seems to be alot off ejector marks on the plastic parts aswell anyone else noticed this?

well started painting the aircraft i`m using the xtracolor from hannants which i`ve used previous on my 1/32 aircraft which dries gloss which aids in putting on the decals then give a coat of Matt varnish and gives excellent results will post pics as soon as they have dried. the paint no if any one else is using them are x806 olivgrun & x208 lichtblau. ;D also started the heavy anti aircraft guns oh heres the boat with a light Grey tarp and a couple of the funnel thats it for now ;D

I like your mods Tigerace, really good work on the tarp.
Are you painting the struts on the arado's green or blue?
I can't make up my mind as to which would look best.
