Hi Mark, Reading your post (couldn't see any pics on the link though) made me have a look at our Oz ebay toys.search.ebay.com.au/z-scale-trains_Other-Model-Trains_W0QQsacatZ131 and I decided to buy a bag containing 300 model railroad figures 1/200, the most suitable of them to be painted as navy crew for my Richelieu. They should arrive within a couple of weeks. Now I just have to figure out the French WWII navy uniform colours. Ie. you happily get one monkey off your back - and immediately get a new one back. Hi yoddhâ
thanks for the link mate. I've ordered a 500-pack of the small figures and expect them to arrive in approx. 2-3 weeks. I'll post some pics when I've got em in my dirty little paws.
Cheers
Paul

Guys,
I'd be very interested in how these turn out once you paint them and if they really can be made to look like german sailors from ww2.
Please post photos.
thanks
Rod

Hi Guys,
After purchasing my 300 figures yesterday, and based on the vast number of people building the Bismarck at the moment, I emailed the company in Hong Kong and suggested they offer a bag of 50 figures 1/200 panted as navy crew ie. captain, officers, sailors, etc.
Today I received the reply that they will definitely look into this opportunity very quickly, so hopefully we will soon see such an offer on eBay.
Cheers for now .... Poul

Now, that is proper customer service even if nothing comes of it; .......there are entities not a million miles away that COULD take notice of that (no name mentioned )

Yes, Yoddha,
I told him about the world wide Bismarck modelling going on at the moment, and that crew for the model is starting to be discussed in several forums.
To prove the point, I put a link in the email to your thread in this forum; '1/200 german sailors'.
Yoddha, you are world famous now.
But, let's take a step back and see what comes out of this.
Cheers .... Poul
