you got the strips of wood in your`s then mike? they haven`t done a good job in identifying the parts though mike and what about the ships bell really pitiful they could have given us a brass one ;D don`t no what you think mate

Wow Mike, where has this baby been hiding? Well behind?, it looks like you're almost there to me, at least you're well ahead of where I am.
Its great to see so many Bismarcks now getting close to finished. Its staggering the amount of detail on this thing and the high standard that builders like Mike have set.

Hi Rod I got loads of bits to fit on the Bismarck, some of the parts are so small if I drop them Ill never find them again, But plod on I will Bismarck will get finished one day.

Hi Mark What do I think of Hachette's Flying Scotsman Basically its a nice model, But the build plan is not good At the start of the build your told to fit certain parts only later to remove them and fit replacement parts.
One big problem is the tender, one of the side braces needs cutting at angle [ top front edge] because the brass coal shute don't fit, theres nothing in the instructions about is. I found this out after fitting had to cut it with a slitting disc , and hope I did'nt cut through the side of the tender.
cost wise I think it was over priced, moan over, got that off my chest. mike
