Thanks for the welcome back guys Nice to see so many familiar faces as it were hehe. I am highly jealous of both Markus's and Dirtydozen's bismarcks lol, hope mine comes out half as good as that!! I have 2 big problems with my build at the mo, one is that I still haven't managed to source my brass propellers so I have contact 2 companies about making M2 threaded ones. And my second problem is that I seem to be missing 8 issues so going to have to phone Hatchette and pray they have them, if they don't I am at a loss as to what to do eeek!! Gonna do some sanding on my decking tonight I think.

Its ok, I have spoken to Hachette and apparently all the issues I was missing they have in stock and there now winging there way to me. It also looks like I might have sourced some propellers too Will post a pic of them when I get home so you lot can say if there the right ones. Oh also I know I am being lazy here but it will save me digging through all the issues I have, but if you didn't order the RC setup from Hatchette do you still get the A frames etc for the prop shafts? If so what issue do they come in? Thanks.

Hi Afk, real nice to see you back again!
I've been AWOL a lot this winter too, been a bit of a horrible one for me, but am hoping to get re-started again soon!

So I know I am miles behind all of you and some of you have probably finished the bissy by now so I will be frantically reading the forums for tips and tricks from you masters ;D ;D Don't worry, AFK, Mark is in the same boat!, excuse the pun.

Thanks for reminding me Mike - like I'd forgotten Welcome back AFK. We will, of course, have to charge you for going AWOL, but you can spend the time in the brig doing all that tedious deck planking ! We'll look forward to seeing how your Bissy is coming on. Mine is going very slowly, as Mike so kindly pointed out LOL

Welcome back afk, we have all missed you!! Seem to have lost a lot of the original members, but have been replaced with just as friendly new ones, and just as barmy!!! My Bissie is also on hold, at about issue 130, although the main gun turrets have completely stalled. Am now concentrating on my Waverley, as want to get it finished later this year, but it is very time consuming as I do more research than build, as my only source of info are the hundreds of photos I took of her when she came to Swanage last year. One advatnage of Mark going so slowly is that the forum is likely to remain as is for some long time to come, although lately we seem to have digressed onto "France",Tiger tanks and god knows what!!!

Mine is going very slowly, as Mike so kindly pointed out LOL Take heart , Mark - One good thing about being behind Germany and the UK is that the rest of us learn from the "Pioneers" mistakes and recommendations.
