the only other bismarck was the one in 1:100
tanker might be 1:87 (HO Scale) , length approx. 4 meters

..very nice, was down to Navy Days in Plymouth today and have loads of pics, anyone interested?

Excellant photos there Markus. It always amazes me that you build a model ship indoors, and it seems huge, but the moment it goes on the water it seems to shrink so that you can hardly see it!! Bet that tanker needs a garage to store it, cannot imagine it in the front room!! (wonder how much it weighs?) ;D

I'd have been a bit nervous with all these torpedo firing subs sneaking around, oh for some depthcharges!

the submarine captains came from the netherlands, they even installed an underwater camera (the grey tube on the 5th pic) you could watch the ships and subs form below - cool markus

Bloody hell that tanker is nearly half a tonne and nearly 3.5M long. Way to big for my walls.
