What is a partwork ? I see the yamato in "the brig" forum and it is also here www.model-space.co.uk/ships/battleship-yamatois this a pArtwork, that is a magazine and model that has been in the newsagents already? I see it is launching on 1st december, but only online??? From the info I got from dagostini site, we don't think it has been on trial yet outside japan. And the magazine is digital. So new launch next week or old partwork?

Welcome to the forum.
A partworks (my defintion) is a weekly periodical coming with bits every week allowing the buyer to build a model. - such as the Bismarck &Yamato and the Lancaster. As far as I am aware the Yamato was only ever released in Japan. So technically its an old partwork but new to the United Kingdom

I consider partworks as a weekly magazine with modelparts included. The DeAg Model-space models are monthly without a magazine, so not a partwork in the traditional sense of the word. The Yamoto was released in Japan (and I believe the Netherlands) as a traditional partwork, but they have changed the format for the UK market. However, it doesn't really matter whether you call it a partwork or not, and talking about it on this forum, or my other partwork forum www.partworkmodels.co.uk/phpBB3 is welcomed and encouraged. There are plenty of modellers here to help, encourage and enjoy. Are you building the Yamoto ?

DeAgostini have come out with a new partwork format it seems. No big advertising, but you can buy a kit in monthly installments, over a few months. I'm not sure what you get in the way of a magazine or instructions.
