Mine are the same - need the rivets cut off that part. You've done a very neat job ! I hope I can manage to get them that good !

You might be able to make some new rivets by dipping a needle in some white PVA ( wood) glue, and then making small drops on the turrets. Once dry add another small drop on top of the first ones and it'll look great.
I used this method to make rivets on my FW190D9.
