My host, who shall remain nameless unless they don't get their act into gear, are supposed to provide unlimited bandwidth. However, what they actually do, is put a bandwidth limit on, and then increase it if I ask them. This month the traffic has gone ballistic, and went from a 80% warning to busted in 2 days !! I'm hoping that they will fix the problem today. If not, I'll be looking for a new host. Anybody got any recommendations ? I'm after somebody who is cheap, doesn't have a bandwidth limitation, and supports SMTP mail. I don't need any other frills, although good traffic stats are a plus.

Done an update. Some work on the mast, although I was slowed by the lack of a bit of 2 by 2 !!

What a 2" by 2" by 72", (L X W X H) piece of wood for wacking your host around with. LoL ;D ;D ;D Yes your avatar vanished briefly again, (can't quite remember when though).

I'm in the progress of immigrating back to the UK now, so don't expect to see anything much happen for the next month or 2. Not getting any more issues sent out, and I think it's going to take a few weeks for my Bismarck to make the voyage across the Indian Ocean, up the Red Sea, through Suez, through the Med, and across Biscay. Think, she'll have covered more miles than the original ever did !!

Have a look at www.servage.net for hosting. I have never had a problem with them.

You folks may be pleased to hear that I've finally managed to get back to the Bismarck, and have started applying brasswork to the superstructure. I'm trying to catch up on some of the stuff I missed out earlier. I.e. The things like hand rails that would never have survived shipping half way round the world. Expect an update sometime soonish.
