I was thinking about windows Matt, it would be very easy to do, but I would have to leave it as it is until after I had spray painted the ship, then i would put in the windows and finally glue on the front part.
Might be nice to illuminate, need to think on that one..........

Reminds me of the Black Adder episode where Blackadder is about to sail round the Cape of Good Hope
Melchett : Farewell, Blackadder [hands him a parchment]. The foremost cartographers of the land have prepared this for you; it's a map of the area that you'll be traversing.
[Blackadder opens it up and sees it is blank]
Melchett : They'll be very grateful if you could just fill it in as you go along. Bye-bye.

Very nice indeed. I am getting really jealous off all the peeps sticking on there brass lol!!! Mind you as its my birthday I have asked for a load of airbrush kit and paints so tonight I will be buying me airbursh yey!!! So will be going paint mad soon. Also eric in that 3rd pic down you have a little white vent, is this your own addition or did it come with the magazine. Oh and how did you go about doing the parts for your bridge, ie the small column things etc.

There are three little plastic vents, two at the hanger doors, and the other on the side...all supplied in issue 68.
When i did the signal station and its millions of small columns I used the thin C/A. I put the part in place, then touched the underside of the floorplate where the small part was with C/A on a needle, capilliary action drew the glue onto the part. Very very fiddly, and you had to be sure it was positioned correctly! It came out OK, but as you can see, the glue has left white residue again, but as before paint will hide it.

Thanks for that eric, did you just use scraps of wood for the bridge parts?

I was just curious as to what material you used to build your table etc out of for the bridge? Was it scraps of wood?

Ah! gotcha!
I used two rangefinders off an old 1/600 British cruiser, a couple of spare brass etched telegraphs off 1/350 battleship Konig and the table was made from plastic sheet for the top and a handy plastic scrap peice for the base!
Waste not, want not.......
Also forgot, plasic card with a door cut into it for the rear bulkhead, and the left over copper peices clipped off issue 66's pipework as conduit on the bulkhead.
