Agreed.
I cannot possibly understand some of the pain you went though when a child is lost, but all I can say is what I do and that is to think of the happy times I enjoyed and the memories.
Once again thankyou for all your support and kind words.

On the lighter side of it Jim, my wife is an embalmer. I'm a total softie and cringe at the thought of thinking about the inevitable. Imagine what I have to listen to................... Baz

My dad die a few years ago, not that old (62), went missing and the police found him a week later. They think he commited suicide, but the case is still open. Went through hell that week. That happened in 2004 and the hurt don't go away. It would have been his birthday on 23rd April. Never forget.
Back to the building.

As with Chill and Jim, we all who have read this, share your pain and anguish, but on a different level.................... for we are not in your shoes. This forum seems to have brought a cyberspace group closer than I would have imagined............... ( looks at screen and clears lump in throat)

couldn't agree more, despite the nature of the internet, cyber space and people, there are quite a few in this forum I would be proud to call a friend.

Don't want to trivialise or offend, but I just read the most recent posts in this thread (I had read all the earlier ones) and was looking at the last 25 posts from the oldest to newest, and ended up at the top of the page.
Then I noticed the ads: two of them were "Affordable Memorial Cards" and Online Counselling"! I had heard that websites software picks ads relevant to the users, but that's weird.
NM
(After writing this post, they changed: now four are for adhesives - that people had been enquiring about.)

For all at this time of year my thoughts are with you all. My thoughts as well. P.S. No ads here, mainly due to having the hosts file in windows set to block them all.

I have in the hosts file 127.0.0.1 <-- loopback ip address and hostname. as in 127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com btw adding that to the hosts file in Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\hosts will stop a lot of the ads on here. Note no extension on the file called hosts
