I just finished issue 64, and in accordance with step 15, I used two part epoxy resin to bond down the platform 217 onto the aft deck house.
Fine.
But looking at the preview of issues coming up I can see in the photos that this part is NOT glued down.
Which is it?
Will it interfere with steps later on?
Has anybody else glued this part down yet?

I have not yet glued that part down, mainly because I have also not yet glued down the part on which it fits!!! Hachette have a nasty habit of producing brass bits to go on brass bits many issues later, eg see issue 68 (next Wednesday here) where lots of brass bits need attaching over those already fitted!!! I only wish that Hachette would finish off a section at a time, not leave us with lots of bits to fit later - which is why my catapults are already fitted, more likley to get damaged in my "odds and ends" box. Having said that, I do not think that you will have any problems later, so leave it as is.

Yea, I don't fancy my chances with my dremel, so unless it is vital i shall most definatly leave it! Who thought out the sequence of issues......a room full of monkeys banging away on typewriters? ??

Have to agree with you Eric, more thought could have gone into the sequence of it all.

Sorry to bump this thread up again but I agree that the order in which everything is fitted is ridiculous!
at least on hachette's titanic we finished the hull completely before moving on to other bits!
although I believe I know why they do this... they wait until the last issue to complete evreything... some people might quit buying the rest of the model if they've completed the hull and start scratch building the rest of the model, hachette wants to prevent this...
