Hello guys, this is my first posting and to be honest I didn't think it would be about the Titanic!!.This is the first time I've saw the model with the front frames 'fixed', and it looks miles better Gordon, great job!, definately more like the 'real ship' I like many were oblivious to the shortcomings of the frames, I knew the bow looked odd, but couldn't figure it out, you 'assume' it's correct. It came to light on 'Mark's UK build it' that 6-7 of the bow frames were way wrong and gave a 'plan' on the 'fix', but what can you do when you have it finished off???! This is where luck came into it, someone on eBay was selling the first 60 idssues for 40 bucks, and I thought this was my chance! I took it and thought, well, now that I have a chance to re-build I also invested in the 'after market' brass cabins etc etc from 'Freds', these costing about the same worth as the kit again!! I built up the 'new' hull, new frames in place, but I've since came to a 'dead stop', 'other projects' came along, I'll say no more!!.....Dave

Welcome Berth44 and thanks for your comments. I to have stalled on the Titanic but I will go back. I started the plating but what a tedious job that is!
It would nice to see some pics of your model.

Hello Gordon, that could be arranged, but, at this moment in time.... it's lost!! My garage is having a bit of work carried out,(dividing wall) it was supposed to be finished last year!! So, it is in a state of absolute carnage, and in amongst it is my 'workplace' and there is just no getting near it, I can just make out the stern of the Bismarck...I really am quite pee'd off with the whole thing....Dave
