Just got issue 92 - got a question. On Steps 2/4 it says to file down a 'step' on the base of the main gun. However on step 19 it looks like a slope on the base going away and down from the pencil line. Which is correct a slope or a step?

Hey achtung, just got back from the local shop with 92, had a look and it does look like its a slope, it also looks like its slightly curved at the edges, I'm going to slope mine for the time being, then if more evidence comes through saying its a ledge then I'll file it down

On page 101 of the Anatomy of the Bismarck, it clearly shows a slope from the score line to 1.25mm from it, and then the arc on the outside is level at 1mm thick. It also shows that the score line follows the bend in the metal housing,(parts 886/7) ie not dead straight as shown in issue 92.
