Issue 45 on step 10 shows a shaped ply piece which sits behind the rear fire control position. We are instructed to put this piece to one side for later attachment, after receiving an etched brass piece. The trouble is that part 216's position seems to have been usurped by the plastic 494 in picture 6 of issue 67! Any ideas anyone?

Don't use the wooden piece, it seems it was only to make sure you had the other bits in the right place, (or thats the way I read it). I just superglued the plastic part in without using the wooden bit.

I can only guess the construction task from brass etched parts was too difficult, so Hachette opted for the plastic tub was plan B, and thats what we've got. Baz
