Yes, the case looks very powerful, but pretty empty inside. So what are you gonna stuff it with? - memory - processor - motherboard - grafics card - etc. - etc.

good specs, however by the time you get it built will windows xp still be a viable os? you may have to use the accursed windows vista, or the even newer windows 7 for which you will need a touch screen monitor.

IF you want to play heavy 3D games you'll need something better than that 7900GS, it's a relatively old card. It'll bottleneck your quadcore too....
I bought a new PC in august:
-ASUS Rampage formula motherboard -Intel q9450 quadcore ( overclocked to 3.6 Ghz) -4GB Corsair overclock RAM -2 ATI HD4870 Graphics cards in crossfire mode -2 500 GB HDD -Cooler Master M850 PSU -24" widescreen monitor
was just barely capable of playing crysis at the time, but ATI released new videocard drives which supposedly give a 25% FPS boost, still haven't had time to test though....

I know what you mean about sticking with nVidia, I wanted to do it too, but then I saw I could get double performance for the same price if I bought the two ATI HD4870's instead of the nVidia GTX280...

That require modification with sanders, no more nails so on and so forth...

I assume that you will be buying the parts in 140 stages over the next 2 years !! Might not be quite 140 issues, (I hope) but over the next 2 to 3 years is possible. ;D ;D ;D That require modification with sanders, no more nails so on and so forth... Hopefully not needed, though I might make some mods to the case. but, of course, you won't be buying a remote controlled USB duck hunter............ Probaly not, don't think it would float too well. - LoL ;D ;D ;D

Thinking of having a standard dvd burner and a blue ray 1 as well. Thinking maybe this one, www.directron.com/bc1205pt.html $159.99 should be able to get it for less than that. p.s. Whats the Commander of the fleet rank, I keep seeing ?
