The haunted dimensions site is great.
I've never seen a building with shinny bricks though, maybe 160gsm card would be better.
Glossy photo paper is a nightmare to glue, you will need to 'key' the areas that need glueing. Also it's horrible to keen clean when applying the glue, use only very small amounts. It makes certain models look better, just harder to work with.

I'm currently building this one: paperinside.com/super-tucano/using photo-paper and the white glue supplied with the bismarck; holding surprisingly well!
