Hey Robert can't we help with the leg checking part? Bring it on with some photos and let us vote here.

Had some thoughts for some sections on the forum for the future. Not totally sure how things would be arranged though. Sections would be. Scratch Built Models, (I'm sure Poul's Richelieu won't be the only scratch build on here). Kit Built Models, (for Kits only) Partworks, (Partworks only)

You've missed semi kits off.It should be between scratch and kit.

Sections revised. Scratch Built Models, (I'm sure Poul's Richelieu won't be the only scratch build on here). Semi Kits, (Models that are neither fully kit or fully scratch built). Kit Built Models, (for Kits only). Partworks, (Partworks only).

I second that.
As long as the other "general" sections, for example my favourite, "Jokes" section remains.
What about a section for Achtung's dancing girls?! ;D

I thought I'd posted a reply to Skyfire's post. However it seems to have got lost in the Ethernet.
My new forum http://www.partworkmodels.co.uk\phpBB3 is not specific to any partwork, although it is currently focusing on the Lancaster. As it's non-specific it can be easily sustained as different partwork come and go. I'm also hosting it myself, so I have total control over the software and am not limited to whatever Proboards offer (althogh their service is very good).
The new forum covers all types of kit and scratch built models as well as partworks (not forgetting semi-kits)
I will continue to run both the new forum and this one and people are most welcome to post in either or both forums. I'd expect that over time the Bismarck board will slowly wane and the Partwork models forum will become more popular. This is purely because the Bismarck forum will not attract many new members when the Bismarck series finishes and existing members will slowly drift away. The new forum will not suffer the same fate as it will move as partworks come and go.
I'll continue to run both boards in the manner which you know and seem to like. The new forum actually looks very similar to this on in layout, although I'm using different software.

the future of the forum? dunno about everyone else, my bissie looks to all intents and purposes complete until I open the bits boxes, (yes boxes) and I reckon another 6 months to get it to what I want. but then I missed a lot of issues and had to get them from hatchette
