When I recently received issues 96 & 97 along with 98 & 99 I noticed that the laser cut sheets in both these issues were damaged. I contacted Hachette and they said they would despatch replacements, these arrived today with both parts damaged again.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, there was some damage, a couple of the gun bases were split, but I glued the parts together and when the whole gun was constructed the other parts supported and strengthened the repair. It is possible that the damage occurred in transit, especially when the postman attempted to stuff the package through the letter box !!!
(unfortunately, they keep changing the postman so I can't make sure that he knows to leave things like that in the dog kennel by the front door and leave a note in the postbox)

Every warship should have a damage control party.

My postie is great, he never bends the package....and was so interested that he asked to see my Bismarck several months ago!
So I am always sure that at least when the package gets to Oban it'll be looked after!
