looking good skywire despite the 9 ft x 4 ft size , you can get plenty in to it,im doing mine in 3 stages, the 1st being the left area, 15 ft x 4 ft, then like your self i'll add on the extentions ,once i unpack all my gear i'll post a pic of it, its in about 12 boxes, mostly by skaledale buildings, hornby track, with outside radii track being 3 bend, inside is 2nd radii track. jc

Pity I can't be over there to help you build it. Might get to help a friend out here with their model railway.

Used to have a fleischmann railway, 1,20 by 2,30 meters... decided to take it apart a few months back, and put all the buildings, tracks, and trains in storage boxes, and threw out the base. sadly my dad has stacked all sorts of crap on top of the storage boxes and thus 90% of the contents are damaged beyond repair

rolling stock has lots of bent/broken handrails and fittings etc.
would be better of just buying everything new if I ever build a new layout...

to those of you in the railway world, RAILWAY MODELLER magazine, outon 7th on every month, are doing a special on my local railroad in ballina , co mayo.my local terminal is a branch line off the main line, as i live out in the sticks a bit, looking forward to seeing how they modelled it.it's mainly a freight line, with a turn out coming off the freight line into the terminal. (tiny office i meant to say) LOL , for the passenger train. jc

I have found a excellent site with model railway pictures! www.reichsbahn.nl/the railway depicts the german railway during world war 2. If I were to build another railway I'd use exactly this theme! a direct link to the pictures: 82.171.179.63:2045/
