Personally, I think it would look like an unpainted model of the Bismarck !! It might look OK if thw whole model was brass, but I don't think it would look good with a moxture of brass, wood and plastic. But, hey, if that's what you want to do, go ahead and do it. Each to their own, and all that jazz.
LOL at JC's post !!

Been thinking of not bothering to paint the Bismarck at all.... at least you'll have a unique model then markus

Same here.. No problem spraying the hull with some primer but I can see all sorts of grief if I try to paint white camouflage stripes onto the superstructure... It will end in tears!

2. Send it over to Markus! (Sorry Markus). LoL nm Think I might go for the post Norway scheme. That's probably what I'll do Skyfire, there was only the slightest trace left of the black and white bands on the hull, only the darker grey and the white bow-wave left intact....much easier! To whet you appetite, take a look at this model by Peter Beisheim, if you have'nt already seen it; www.bismarck-class.dk/shipmodels/german_models/bismarckbeisheim.htmlSame scale as ours, and ours will look almost as good!
