thanks 4 all the messages of good well my friends, susan says thanks also, i miss her , now that she's gone back home to cork, she's coming back up in the summer for a week. once i get back to modelling im going to finish nimitz 1st as she's a faster build, i actually sprayed the flat top dark grey last night, so its ready now for her landing markings etc. (thanks 4 the paint markus, great brand and quality) will post pic during week. jc

Will be good to see the Nimitz complete and out on the water. I'm still thinking about motorising the Yamato.

You can always put a steam engine in your Yamato. I believe that they do make smaller ones than my twin triple-expansion steam engines, that can be fitted into something smaller than a 9ft model boat !!!!!!
