I have installed the remote control unit some time ago, and it worked perfectly after adjustments. Now I go to test it again and it does not work. I switch on the transmitter, and then the speed controller, and there is a slight movement on the servo. On moving the rudder control and speed control on the transmitter, there is nothing at all. I have checked the batteries in the transmitter, and put a meter on the main battery, and it registers over 6 volts. Also checked all cable connections. What is the problem, can anyone help.

Hi Markus, Thanks for replying promptly but it was a false alarm. I had reconnected the channel 2 cable for the motors the wrong way round, although it does not say in the instructions that there is a right way, so it is hit and miss. Anyway, what I have done, is I am utilising the spare switch harness supplied with the transmitter, and connecting it to the speed controller instead of the original switch and attaching it to the side of the main deck. This alleviates the necessity of detaching the section of deck every time you want to switch on and off. And also when you have to recharge the battery, you can disconnect the harness from the speed controller by the little plug and socket on the harness, and put the section of deck to one side. Hope this is all explained adequately, and maybe other people will be interested in the setup
Regards Borry
