it's powered with a 400 class motor without gearbox, just like my bissy battery is 8,4volts 1000mAh NIMH, good for 10 minutes flight aabt.co.uk/prd291-9892.htmmarkus

9 out of 10 for the landing Marcus..
I tried this once but it ended in tears. Cessna went nose first into a potato field and I had to dig it out with a spade... hence the move to boats!

Good bit of flying, pity about the wind. Have to finish off the thermal sailplane I have and see if I can get it too fly.

You've made a good choice Markus this model is ( well, it WAS a year ago, don't know if it still is) really popular among starting RC pilots. It's pretty forgivable but still requires some skill to be flown. They also have a 4 channel version with ailerons, which costs 25 euro more. Problem with this aircraft is that you can't really use this transmiter for another plane, meaning you'll have to buy a whole new transmitter set if you want to continue with RC plane modeling. Another downside which has nothing to do with the aircraft is the fact that more and more people can afford model planes. It's cool to have interest in the hobby, but these models usually crash. When that happens people start bad-mouthing about the hobby even though it's their own fault. Another downside is the increase of illegal flying in residential areas, which causes trouble for legit flying clubs because authorities enforce stricter regulations. A common beginners mistake is to try and fly a plane on their own, underestimating the difficulty of model flight. Luckily it went okay for you! here's a pic of my 1:7 FW190D9, fully RC with flaps and retractable landing gear. your next model ? ;D ;D

Nice model, Danny.
Pity you had to use it to shoot the dog.
