Years ago (just before I was exiled to China) I started building a Congreve clock. These are fascinating time pieces which use a ball rolling down a zig-zagged track on a tilting table to keep the time. Not very accurate, but they loook great. I've just dusted off the box and started dong a bit of work on it again. There is something very satisfying about taking a piece of raw brass and polishing it to a mirror finish. www.wakelin.org/clockThis is what mine should look like when it's finished.

OOOOOOOoooooooooooooo .... I do like that Mark. Very very nice ............. and what the heck, as long as there is one reasonably accurate clock in the house, who cares about the rest .... Baz
