Hi Oldfox welcome to the site , home of dancing girls, penguins, matchsticks and sugar cubes (dont ask!) and sometimes rumour has it we actually partake in some buidling. We in Britain are on issue 120/121 so we have 19 issues to go or five months roughly so we are all around for a while longer and there are only a few us actually built our ship up to iss 121 I for example are upto only half that way! Look forward to seeing pictures of your build.

Afternoon guys, just going thru the messages and want to correct a terrible mistake: when adressing our administrator in my message of 24/06, I should have said Mark instead of Markus. Sorry for that. On the other hand I like reading the comments and advice posted by Markus too. He's obviously a very experienced modeller. ll be in touch
regards Oldfox

No worries - it takes more than that to upset me ! My father still confuses me, my brother, and my dog !! (even tho the poor dog passed away a couple of years ago)

I would certainly participate in this or any other forum with you guys, but please don't forget us latecomers. I'm only in issue 84 now and still have a distance to go. I'm just wondering if Hachette will continue selling the Bissy in the future, if so then new members will most probably login to this forum continuously.

Chances are Hachette will eventually cease publication of the magazine once all major selling areas are fullfilled eg Europe, Austrailia etc.

Alert!
Get your Bismarck finished within the next three years. I've just seen the film 2012, and bad things happen in December that year!

Well that's if you use the mayan calendar to tell what date it is. Its worse for me - I use the Gregorian calendar and the one on my desk finishes on 31st December THIS year!!

Ah, but were the Mayans any good at product placement? In that film, some is subtle, some is comically blatant (not just my opinion - audience reaction was hilarious). nm
