Hi Chill, I posted a message about this website when Robert v1.0 found it last Nov. The barrels you're looking for are referenced 6240/80 Gun Barrel 380mm Calibre (£1.37). As their turrets are plastic made, the guns should be a bit to short for ours which need to go further inside for elevation purpose. See my post: buildthebismark.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=tips&thread=1420&page=1Hope it helps, gunner penguin!

Just reading your post. I can acheive the extension by using those plastic tubes you supplied?

Beside the fact that the Cornwallmodelsboats gun barrels have not the right shape for the Bismarck, they also do not have the extra length of aluminum bit at the edges to slip the plastic tubes on Chill, while Moduni's and GPM's have it. That helps quite a lot!

Ah back to square one then.
Ok back to basics. Where is the best place to get the barrels for use on your supplied turrets.
'k' wil be awarded to all involved who helps out!
As my build is at a stand still - again!

Dear Tigerace
Look at page 2 of "Popeye's Build" on the individual build page and you will see a picture of the gun barrels and how I fixed them in the turrets and a direction to my photo album with more details, photos and a movie of the turret moving and the guns elevating.
Good luck

How much was their postage Robert ? They're a lot cheaper than Moduni !!

Hi Mark, Postage was less than EUR9.00 at that time. I had to contact them as when I clicked the item into the basket, the postage fee indicated was ridiculously too expensive, so they replied in giving me a more fair price. They must have corrected this problem since. Chill should be able to confirm it to us. And if you click the picture on the Moduni's page to enlarge it, you'll notice their barrels come from... POLAND! Maybe they cost more because each kind of barrels has its own plastic bag? ;D
