Found this one. Looks good: www.lancasterbombercollection.co.uk/I wonder if this is the one that was trailed in Bolton a few months ago? I might go for this one over the next boat one. Anyione heard any more on the next boat model?

Wonder if I could change it too 'G for George' as it's in the War Memorial here in Canberra.

Hey, that sounds good! I might come to France within a year or two.
Chill, do you know how many issues will include this patchwork? Would be nice to convert it into a "dambuster."

The website is indicating 125 issues.
There is a video on the website and the models look quite substational but unable to figure out if its airworthy. Could install motors to mke the props turn. But I think its a static model.
I will let you know what my newagents say about the print run. If I can get hold of it - I ll start a build dairy to run along side my Bissy rather than doing another boat. And you guys could offer advise on build etc.

That looks like a fine kit to build. Hope it runs the course, couldn't think about another build until all the Bismarck part have been delivered. Up to number 127 so, hopefully not too much longer now!

I would say it's definitely a static model. It looks far too fragile to be a flying model to me. I couldn't see a release date though ?
Edit : Released this Wed according to the National Title File
Ho hum..... something else to build.......

Hey Achtung, in the absence of a proper submarine build, I think I'll rather go up than down on my next build so whilst you're at it, please find out if they'll also release this worldwide as the Bissy? I'm not sure how it all works, so I'll appreciate a lesson in this business.

Coenie _ maybe a ring to the makers may be in order.
Alan V - start with lots of red roses!

Gee, that just doesn't make economic sense. It looks about 1/48 scale. With the prolific number of quality plastic kits of this aircraft, I couldn't see any sense in forking out money for 127 issues which I presume would be around $14 AUD per issue, making this thing cost about $1750 by the end.. That's one incredibly expensive model aircraft that doesn't even fly.

One point, as Markus has indicated in a previous thread, Hachette indicated that they were going to release a nother boat-but considering how they have now released this is the next boat on hold then?
