I blew the dust off a few of my plastic kits and thought I would post some pics. These range from 1/72 ~ 1/32. They are quite old and are my first attempt at modeling so they are a bit rough in places. Placed an order with Santa for a 1/32 Tamyia kit so providing I am good boy... Hey Gordon those planes look great. I really like the phantom, one of my favourite planes. My planes were done when I was about 15, before I got into ships, so I tend to keep them tucked away out of sight these days... I painted my Bismark hull using Tamiya Hull Red and it looks fine. I'm a fan of the expensive little spray cans and have used hull red on all my ships. lets face it, when the real ships hit the water, the bright red doesn't last too long so who's to say what colour is really the right one... cheers Rod

Hi Rod,
I would have used the Tamiya spray but, due to some labeling issue, you cant get them in the UK at the moment so I used an airbrush. You get a good result, it just takes a bit longer and the cleaning up is tedious.

Yes well spotted Chill. I didn't post a pic as its not a very good kit. from memory it was an Airfix but could be wrong. I would like to build another one if anyone can recommend a decent kit.
